We enjoy working our horses on the miles of trails available at the ranch Trail Rides or at the Nearby Spencville Wildlife Preserve where you can enjoy nearly 12000 acres of beautiful equine and hiking trails and a magnificent wetlands habitat. We also enjoy Empire Mines in Grass Valley, Nevada City trails, Auburn Trails and Hidden Valley within an hour of the ranch.
Immersion Horse experience: Stick around for awhile, and give yourself the benefit of extended learning in a comfortable and full ranch environment. We are more than an equestrian training facility, We train our horses to be lifetime companions and we want out owners to be in ready and confident when they go to their new home Most of our riders are returning to riding after a long time away from the sport. Many just now have time in their lives to fulfill a lifetime dream. We are a farm with goats and chickens, guineas, wild deer, wild turkey, goat babies and Mini horses. Its a relaxing environment and makes for a great learning environment for horse and rider. Enjoy being the center of focus while you refresh old skills or come to riding for the first time. We encourage confidence building skills so you can ride with new awareness and readiness. You can work for days on our schooling horses or your own horse for lessons

Rancho Toledano also provides a clinic facilty with adequate parking for trailers and cars. Our own trails will entertain you for hours, but we are just a short drive from the beautiful trails of Empire Mines in Grass Valley, Lone Grave in Nevada City and the lovely summertime riding of the Skillman U.S. Forest Service Equestrian Trails and campground off Hiway 20 above Nevada City.
